What's the deal?
Get a team together and battle it out in our quiz night. Encourage your kids to team up too. £5 for adults. Kids pay £1 which includes a free drink or snack.
Will there be food and drink?
D4100, the Telegraph Hill cafe pizza restaurant is giving a 10% discount on their pizzas. Pre-order yours and we'll collect it for you, ready for the start of the quiz night.
Kids get a free drink or snack with their ticket and we'll be selling sweets, snacks at the bar too.
There will be a licensed bar selling wine, beer and prosecco.
All money raised goes to the Friends of Hatcham College to support the school and enrich our children's education.

Friends of Hatcham College is the Parent, Teacher, Friends Association that includes all parents and carers of students in Years 7-13 at our College.
We aim to foster a sense of community, raise funds and promote positive contact between parents, teachers and students.

Sound and lighting support for the School Productions
Music stands and instrument repairs for the music department
Funding for inspiring author visits
Subsidised places for Activities Week trips
Support for the Year 7 residential trip
Football and netball kits
Basketball and netball posts
Contributions towards the Year 13 Prom and subsidised their leavers’ hoodies.
Paid for lots of library books
Subsidies for curriculum-enhancing trips
Subscriptions for History and Geography resources
Support for the Young Carers Community within the school
Christmas food parcels for families in our school community.

Examples of recent requests have included:
The English department would like to invite an author in for the day to inspire our students costing £1,000.
The school is looking for support to run an oracy project, to develop students’ ability to articulate ideas, develop understanding and engage with others through spoken language, costs to be confirmed.
The audio-visual equipment in both school halls needs investment costing a minimum of £5,000 for each site, £10,000 total.
The school is looking to run some workshops on addressing gender inequality, £3,500.
House and garden plants to improve the feel of the school for our kids. If you have any to spare, please drop them off at the school office.
Donations of books, uniforms, football boots, etc that your children have grown out of.

How can I make a difference?
If you would like to support the school and projects like these, please consider making a donation. All kinds of donations are important, financial or otherwise.
Financial Contributions: Many parents find that making a regular or one-off financial contribution is a convenient way to support the school. Any amount, large or small, makes a real difference. We are registered for GiftAid, adding 25% to eligible donations.

Donations in Kind & Sharing Your Skills: We are also incredibly grateful for non-financial contributions. They could include:
Introducing your career to students, sharing your career path and answering questions on your expertise.
Sharing your network with the school and hosting Work Experience and Bring Your Kid to Work placements. Offering placements to children who may otherwise not have access to your industry is invaluable.
Donating your time and expertise to do a taster session or provide a service.
